Audrey Davis specializes in traditional West African dance and conducts classes at Rutgers University, Middlesex County College,
Synapse Studios, Inspira Dance Theatre and The Drum & Dance Learning Center. She has taught students of all ages and is
known for her energetic and interactive teaching style. Ms. Davis has also served as the former choreographer for the Nia
Dance Ensemble, a children's performing troupe and is currently the Assistant Artistic Director of the Iwa Lewa Heritage Ensemble
founded and directed by Yewande Kelly Johnson.Audrey has performed at the PNC Arts Center, Crossroads Theatre, the State Theatre, as well as countless
weddings and cultural events. She has also conducted workshop for the Julliard School, Johnson & Johnson, the Princeton
School System, and many other organizations. Ms. Davis takes great pride and joy in sharing the richness of African dance
and culture.

and energtic West African dance classes with Master Instructor, Audrey Davis. Explore the richness of African Dance traditions from Guinea and the Mali empire with an emphasizes
on the relationship between music and dance. Learn the history and identity of the dances through movement and music. If you have experienced Audrey before...no
explanation is needed! If this is your first time, join us...see what it's all about. Live music for classes. No experience needed.
All Workshops 2:30 - 4:00pm January 8 ($20 by Dec 31, $25 after) January (15 $20 by Jan 8, $25 after) February (12 $20 by Feb 4, $25 after) February (19 $20 by Feb 12, $25 after) March 4 ($20 by Feb 25, $25 after) March 11 ($20 by March 4, $25 after) West African Performance Project We are forming a performance group at The
Drum & Dance Learning Center in Lawrenceville, NJ lead by Audrey Davis. This is a project based group. Commitment
to taking scheduled workshops is required as is additional rehearsal scheduled directly after workshops plus one Monday night
just prior to performance date. Performance opportunities are being scheduled for April & May.
